#officesiren

A tight blouse, heeled shoes, hair-to-hair styling - this is not your school teacher but an office siren, the new hit of social networks. The trend combines femininity and sexiness within the office dress code. The hashtag #officesiren has racked up 7.9 million views. This continuation of Office Core is a popular trend from last year, thanks mainly to the Miu Miu and Prada shows.
It's not just about the clothes and accessories but also the makeup that completes the 'office siren' look: think matte skin, neutral shades, and a minimum of bright details. The 'office siren' aesthetic harks back to the 90's and early 2000's, with its signature features of thin eyebrows, gray smokey eyes, and a focus on the lips.
I used similar looks in one of my shoots last year. To stylize the new InStyle shoot, Kevin Huhne tried on Julia Fox for an office siren look. To accomplish the task, he chose Sergio Hudson, Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Carolina Herrera, Sportmax, Michael Kors, Kate Hundley, and Tory Burch for the actress.
