I conclude my review of couture fashion week in Paris. Vivid collections of the last days:
- Victor&Rolf showcased crazy outfits for a photo shoot. Many of the bodysuits are likely to be chic with lace semi-transparent skirts.
- Like Dior, Valentino released a laconic couture collection with draping as the main element. Designers believe that haute couture should not be made with too much complexity, excessive embroidery, and other "distractions."
- Zuhair Murad continues to be the opposite of laconicism and is loved for its rich decoration of the dresses.
- Fendi showed a collection from the "restrained couture" series: less decor, more style, and stateliness.
