Max Mara's Resort collection

Venice is the point on the map where East and West meet. From here, European travelers of the past started their journey to Asia and Arab countries. Max Mara decided to convey this idea in their new cruise collection. They presented oriental tasseled belts and turbans, combining them with European bouffant sleeves and bourgeois beige coats.
Max Mara's Resort collection, unveiled at the Palazzo Ducale in Venice, is a testament to the brand's global reach and its celebration of the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. The collection, a tribute to Marco Polo and his travels in Mongolia and Constantinople, is a rich tapestry of cultural influences.
Turbans, created with Stephen Miller, are featured in many of the collection's looks. Large tassels on belts and various patterns refer to the traditions of Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, and the "yin-yang" philosophy from ancient China.
